Margo McTaggart
Margo G. McTaggart
Administrative Assistant

Margo retired from education after 30 years, 3 years as an elementary teacher and 27 years as a reading specialist. She taught 7 years for Penn Yan Central School in Dresden & Branchport and then 20 years in Fairport. Margo grew up in Elmira and received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Elmira College. Her family has owned property on Keuka Lake for three generations, first on W. Lake Rd. and then her parents purchased property on E. Lake Rd. and ran a girls’ camp, called The Elms, for 10 years. After the majority of the property was sold, her family continued to live north of there until she and her husband, Fletch, sold it to move to Penn Yan and live close to the golf course – as they are both avid golfers.

At its southern end, Keuka's Bluff rises 800 feet above Keuka's waters.     read more Keuka tidbits
